Weekend Racing Roundup – 23rd July 2018

Carlingford Triathlon 2018

Pulsers travelled North and South for racing last weekend. Caitríona Ryan scored her first triathlon title when she took first place at the Carlingford Triathlon on Sunday. A great performance by Caitríona, we’re looking forward to watching her progress.

On the BMW National Series  and Triathlon Super series front, there were two races. The Cobh Jailbreak Triathlon took place on Saturday, and Ché McGann, Siobhan Quain and Dee Needham all placed second in their age groups. On Sunday, in the Belfast Titanic Triathlon, Céline Le Berre and Maire Diggin came third in their age groups. Well done ladies, and well done to everyone who raced!

Also in Belfast, Donnacha McCarthy retained his national title when he won the PTVI category in the Paratriathlon National Championships. Congratulations to Donnacha and his guide, Dave Tilly!
