Pulse Triathlon Club

OUR PURPOSE
Our purpose is to promote all levels of triathlon participation in a competitive yet friendly, supportive and enjoyable environment. You don’t have to be super fit or have a super bike to join in our training sessions. We aim to make the sport of triathlon as accessible and cost effective as possible.
Pulse Triathlon club was established back in June 2003 when a group of friends decided to compete in a charity event. Looking to join a club, they discovered that, at the time, there were few clubs in Dublin, so they decided to set up a new club. Starting with just five members, the club has grown from strength to strength over the years. Now with over two hundred members, it is one of the larger triathlon clubs in Dublin.
OUR COMMUNITY
We are based in south Dublin and train at a number of locations during the season including Tallaght Athletic Club Track, Westpark Gym, Tallaght Sports Complex, Corkagh Park, Killiney beach and more.
We cater our training for those aiming to compete in Sprint, Olympic, Middle Distance or Ironman distance triathlons. Our members range from complete beginners to elite triathletes and everything in between. Some of our members are training to complete their first triathlon, others are more experienced and training to improve a personal best.
We have members aged from 8 to 65 and have one of the largest numbers of female members in Ireland. We cater for all and there is always someone for you to train with.
OUR JUNIORS
Our Pulse Junior Triathlon Club was set up in 2015 and caters for youngsters aged 8 to 17 years. Throughout the year we hold coached training sessions in swim, bike, run and strength and conditioning. We organise a number of junior events including our Youth Series Race in Port Beach in Louth.
