Caroline Kearney and Lough Neagh Triathlons

It was a big weekend in the National Series with two Standard Distance races taking place on Saturday. The Caroline Kearney Memorial Triathlon (which was in fact a Duathlon due to water safety issues), our Club Championship Standard Distance race was in Mullingar, and Lough Neagh Triathlon was in Derry. Lough Neagh also hosted a Draft Legal Sprint Distrance race for Cat 1 athletes.

Huge congratulations to Sarah Stapleton who was 3rd overall in the women’s race!

Other Age Group winners were Aine Kelly (1st), Esther Bayon (1st) Leon Shakeshaft (1st), Gary Moralee (1st), Daire Nulty (2nd), Louise Jackman (2nd). Jonathan Butler (3rd) and Mike Burke (3rd)

In Derry, Kieran Hopkins was 4th overall and 1st in AG. Alexandra Egan was 3rd in her AG. Well done guys!
