Training & Events
As a member of Pulse Triathlon Club you can take part in coached swim, bike, run and injury prevention training. We have experienced coaches in all disciplines and the wealth of shared experience of our members. It’s not all work however, there are plenty of fun social events throughout the year as well.
To see an up to date schedule of club training and events, check out our Training & Events Calendar. If you would like more information, or if you are not a member and would like to attend a session as a guest, please contact us at email@example.com.
Swimming is the most technical of all the triathlon disciplines, and being in a club allows you access to coached and supervised swim sessions. The swim training page outlines the various open water and pool based sessions that we run at Pulse Triathlon Club.
Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or a total beginner, the Pulse cycle training program provides you with options. Read the cycle training page for more information.
The focus of run training for triathlon is on improving running speed and endurance. However, unlike regular run training, triathlon run training must also integrate with your swim and bike training. Triathlon running is about being able to compete as close to your straight best time, even when fatigued from the swim and bike. Our run training sessions will allow you to train the different components of triathlon running.
Strength & Injury Prevention
We are strongly committed to promoting the sport of Triathlon in Ireland and providing people with opportunity to compete in multi-sport events. To that end, we organise and number of adult and junior triathlon and aquathlon events throughout the year.
Joining a triathlon club is not all about training. It’s also about making new friends and having new experiences. At Pulse we have an active social calendar including weekends away, an annual Christmas Party and Awards Night, pub quizzes and much more. You can contact the Pulse Events Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
