Open Water Swimming @ Killiney Beach

There is no better way to prepare yourself for open water racing than getting into the sea. Our open water swim sessions take place on Monday evenings at Killiney Beach in South Dublin. Safety is a priority – swims are marshalled and two safety kayakers will be present.

Meet at 6:45 pm in Killiney Beach Car Park (on Station Road close to Killiney Train Station). The session starts at 7 pm.

For swimmers
Please read the Swimmers Responsibility document before attending the session.

The online Covid-19 Training Session Sign In sheet must be completed by 2pm on Monday afternoon at the latest if you are planning on attending the session. This must be done on time to ensure we can split the group into pods of 15 and make sure we have enough coaches.

Water temperature will be checked before going down to the beach.

If you have have any queries, please contact us at swim@pulsetri.com.

For volunteers
All volunteers must review the safety briefings for the roles they are responsible for – see below. If you aren’t on the Rota but are interested in helping out you can email swim@pulsetri.com

Briefing Documents
The following documents outline the responsibilities of swimmers, land marshals, and safety kayakers. Please review these before each session so that you are aware of your role in ensuring a safe swim.
